Its been awhile since I blogged, the last time was in 2007, when I had a Xanga account. I was keeping my limited readers updated about life in Boston. Fast forward to 2012, I am happily married to Paleoporean (eating paleo but technically not Singaporean), and jumping onto the bandwagon of eating healthy (clean) and keeping fit, which is exactly the reason why we set up a blog. This, you can read more when Paleoporean decide to go about setting up a 'About Us' section.
Last evening, I was suppose to attend the Techniques class at Bobbi's Pole Studio. Unfortunately, the scrape on my left knee was still weeping and had to give the class a miss. I have been plagued by a series of bad luck since I got promoted to the Prep-Advanced class. I had to miss a couple of classes due to the cold virus and now, another one or two to allow the wound to heal. I could persist and went ahead with class, but I doubt all the left-leg hangs and crazy leg splits will help in recovery at all. Instead, I ran on the treadmill at the gym, 4K in ~22 minutes. For dinner, Pau (my affectionate nickname for Paleoporean) was sweet to make me a nice, quick dinner of Garlic Herb sausage that we bought from The Butcher (located at Chip Bee Gardens) and stir-fried broccoli with Proscuitto de Parma bought from Hubers Butchery.
I shall keep this virgin entry short and end with a photo of my post-run dinner. Till the next time the wife blog...
